Efficient Traceable Signatures in the Standard Model
نویسندگان
چکیده
Traceable signatures (TS), suggested by Kiayias, Tsiounis and Yung (Eurocrypt’04), extend group signatures to address various basic traceability issues beyond merely identifying the anonymous signer of a rogue signature. Namely, they enable the efficient tracing of all signatures produced by a misbehaving party without opening the identity of other parties. They also allow users to provably claim ownership of a previously signed anonymous signature. To date, known TS systems all rely on the random oracle model. In this work we present the first realization of the primitive that avoids resorting to the random oracle methodology in its security proofs. Furthermore, our realization’s efficiency is comparable to that of nowadays’ fastest and shortest standard model group signatures.

A traceable optimistic fair exchange protocol in the standard model
An Optimistic Fair Exchange (OFE) protocol is a good way for two parties to exchange their digital items in a fair way such that at the end of the protocol execution, both of them receive their items or none of them receive anything. In an OFE protocol there is a semi-trusted third party, named arbitrator, which involves in the protocol if it is necessary. But there is a security problem when a...
متن کاملTraceable Signature with Stepping Capabilities
Traceable signatures schemes were introduced by Kiayias, Tsiounis and Yung in order to solve traceability issues in group signature schemes. They wanted to enable authorities to delegate some of their detection capabilities to tracing sub-authorities. Instead of opening every single signatures and then threatening privacy, tracing sub-authorities are able to know if a signature was emitted by s...
متن کاملStronger Security Notions for Decentralized Traceable Attribute-Based Signatures and More Efficient Constructions
In this work, we revisit the notion of Decentralized Traceable Attribute-Based Signatures (DTABS) introduced by El Kaafarani et al. (CT-RSA 2014) and improve the state-of-the-art in three dimensions: Firstly, we provide a new stronger security model which circumvents some shortcomings in existing models. Our model minimizes the trust placed in attribute authorities and hence provides, among oth...
متن کاملShort Traceable Signatures Based on Bilinear Pairings
We propose a short traceable signature scheme based on bilinear pairings. Traceable signatures, introduced by Kiayias, Tsiounis and Yung (KTY), support an extended set of fairness mechanisms (mechanisms for anonymity management and revocation) when compared with the traditional group signatures. Designing short signatures based on the power of pairing has been a current activity of cryptographi...
متن کاملTraceable Signatures
We present, implement and apply a new privacy primitive that we call “Traceable Signatures.” To this end we develop the underlying mathematical and protocol tools, present the concepts and the underlying security model, and then realize the scheme and its security proof. Traceable signatures support an extended set of fairness mechanisms (mechanisms for anonymity management and revocation) when...
